Privacy statement
Version 17 October 2026
Sleutelradar helps you find a rental home faster. To do that we need some of your data. Here you can read which data, why, who we share it with and how long we keep it.
Who we are
Sleutelradar is a trade name of Yaasolutions, a sole proprietorship registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. Yaasolutions is the controller of your personal data.
Privacy questions? Email privacy@sleutelradar.nl.
Which data we use
- Account: your name, email address and language.
- WhatsApp: your mobile number, only if you turn on WhatsApp alerts yourself. You confirm the number by sending us a code; only then do we message you. We keep when you gave consent. If you switch WhatsApp off or send STOP, we erase your number.
- Search: cities, budget, rooms, floor area and your rules for automatic applications.
- Tenant profile (only what you fill in): job, gross monthly income, household, preferred move-in date, phone number and a text about yourself.
- Documents you upload, such as an employer's statement. These are stored encrypted.
- Your matches and applications: which homes we sent you, where we applied on your behalf and the status you track yourself.
- Payments: your plan and payment status. Your payment details (such as account or card numbers) are processed by Stripe; we never see them.
- Technical data: IP address and time of requests, to prevent abuse and fix problems.
Why we use it
- To provide our service (performance of the contract): finding homes that match, sending alerts by email and, if you want, via WhatsApp, and applying on your behalf.
- With your consent: WhatsApp alerts. You can withdraw consent any time in My profile or by sending STOP; we then erase your number.
- To comply with the law: keeping invoices and payment records for the tax authorities.
- Based on our legitimate interest: keeping the service secure, fighting abuse and scam listings, and fixing problems.
Automatic applications
If you turn on automatic applications, we send an application on your behalf to the landlord or agent of a matching home. It contains your name, your email address as reply address and the details from your tenant profile needed for the letter. You decide what you fill in and can switch automatic applications off at any time.
We never apply automatically to listings that may be scams. We never send your documents automatically.
Who we share data with
- Landlords and agents: only when you or our automatic applications apply for a home.
- Hosting: our server is located in the Netherlands at mijn.host.
- Stripe (payments), Stripe Payments Europe in Ireland.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business), to send WhatsApp alerts if you choose them.
- Our email provider, for login links and alerts.
- Anthropic (United States), to write your application letter with AI. We only send the details needed for the letter, never your documents. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. Transfers outside the EU are covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
We have agreements with all of these parties to protect your data. We never sell your data.
How long we keep data
- As long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we immediately erase your profile, searches, documents, matches and applications.
- Backups are overwritten after 14 days.
- Technical logs are kept briefly: older lines are removed automatically.
- Invoices and payment records are kept for 7 years, as required by law.
Security
All connections are encrypted (https). Documents are stored encrypted. You log in without a password, using a link that is valid for 15 minutes.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies or advertising networks. Your browser only stores what the site needs to work: your login session and language choice. Fonts are served from our own server.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data, object, restrict processing and take your data with you. You can delete your account yourself in My profile; for everything else email privacy@sleutelradar.nl. We respond within one month.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

If we change this statement, the date at the top changes. We will tell you in advance about major changes.
